Citizens of the world are at risk of losing their already minimal water security. Many influential countries in the United Nations, including Canada, are pushing to take out all mention of water as a human right from negotiations. This will essentially reverse the historic recognition of water as a human right, and allow the continued commodification of a resource that is essential to all life on planet Earth.
